Growing Healthy Food, Cultivating Community

Greater Lansing Food Bank’s Garden Project supports a network of nearly 90 community gardens and more than 6,000 home gardeners, helping to feed more than 10,000 people across mid-Michigan. This program of Greater Lansing Food Bank provides:

  • Access to land through a network of community gardens
  • How-to education
  • Free seeds and plants
  • Tool lending
  • Networking hub for garden information and resources

Garden Project partners with mid-Michigan communities to increase access to nutritious food by providing garden space and food-growing resources.
