Our Resource Center in Lansing's Foster Park is open every Wednesday through the end of September,  11 am - 2 pm.

What does The Garden Project do?

The Garden Project helps both home and community gardeners in the Lansing/East Lansing area to grow and preserve their own fresh vegetables by providing access to land, seeds, plants, tools, educational resources and more.  We also organize gleaning: help to harvest surplus produce from area farms!  Gleaned food is delivered right away to food pantries, schools, housing complexes and others in need.  During the growing season, The Garden Project operates our Resource Center, which provides seeds and plant starts to registered gardeners as well as information and a tool lending library.  Other community resources are listed in The Garden Project Lansing Area Resource Guide
