(the corner of Foster and Marcus Streets)

Located at the south end of Foster Park, one block south of E. Kalamazoo St.

Opening Date - Wednesday, 10am-1pm: 3/20

Tuesday, 5pm-7pm: 5/21, 5/28

Wednesday, 10am-1pm: 3/20, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29

Thursday, 5pm-7pm: 3/21, 4/18, 4/25, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30

Saturday, 10am-1pm: 5/18

Open by appointment at other times! Just give us a call at 517-853-7809.

 


 

What's at the Resource Center?

Besides helpful staff and volunteers who can help answer your questions, we offer to registered gardeners:

  • Free seeds (usually limited to 25 packets per year)
  • Free seedlings (transplants); quantities depend on supply
  • Free tool borrowing of standard garden tools for two weeks at a time
  • Gardening and cooking info: books, magazines, videos, pamphlets, etc.
  • Other resources as available
  • Also, a great opportunity to meet other gardeners, get advice or volunteer

 Register for home garden assistance or a community garden to get access to the Resource Center.

Volunteer at the Resource Center!



We encourage gardeners who are able to purchase supplies from local businesses.
